Module Code 單元編號 GEJ4034 Module Title 單元名稱 CELEBRATING EDUCATIONAL SUCCESS: MAKING MEANINGFUL REFLECTIONS OF MY UNDERGRADUATE EXPERIENCE Module Synopsis 單元概要 This course will take you through a stimulating and rewarding process of meaningful reflections upon the educational success in your undergraduate learning journey at EdUHK. The definition of educational success is not determined by systemic factors but you - as critical assessor of your own successful experiences at various levels. The instructor of the course will democratically guide you to self-assess your significant learning experiences, be they in general education, disciplinary training, professional preparation, co-curricular activities, lives beyond the classroom and campus, or experiential learning outside Hong Kong and/or overseas. The course will enable you to connect the educational success with your own identity formation as university graduate/ young professionals, and imagine your personal and professional future in global cities like Hong Kong. You will be scaffolded/ guided to articulate, present and communicate your life stories, beliefs, values and goals coherently in the form of electronic portfolio (known as ‘University ePortfolio’), based on your educational success, meaningful reflections and stored artefacts from undergraduate experience. The course also aims at enlightening you about directions of developing into a university graduate who can engage in lifelong learning and live a worthwhile life.
