Module Code 單元編號 EPA2086 Module Title 單元名稱 PERSPECTIVES IN SPECIAL EDUCATION Module Synopsis 單元概要 The course explores different theoretical frameworks for viewing diversity, namely the social, medical and psychological models. It introduces the historical foundations of special education, and also current issues and trends in both the global and local context. In this course, students develop the understanding of the key concepts of special education. It also provides insight to students by looking at the comparisons of arrangements in selected countries, major legislation relevant to education of individuals with disabilities and controversies in special education.
