Module Synopsis
單元概要
To maintain sustainable competitive advantage, guaranteed growth, and strong leadership, leading local and global enterprises and organisations strategically adapting cutting-edge digital technologies in their workforce education, training, and professional development. This course examines the principles, theories, processes, and practices of planning and implementing leading-edge digital technologies in workforce education, training, and professional development as a major strategy for successful enterprises and organisations to sustain their competitive advantage and long-term success in different contexts in the 21st century. The three strategic planning and development phases, strategic position, strategic choices, and strategy into action, and how digital technologies strategy develops and implemented in diverse disciplines and contexts will be critically analysed and discussed. Specific attention is given to how digital technologies trigger and transform enterprises and organisations into innovative learning organisations that promote proactive, equitable, and personal learning experiences for learners from diverse disciplines, backgrounds, and cultures. Participants are asked to use international standards, benchmarks, and practices to strategically analyse and evaluate a digital technologies strategy of a leading enterprise/organisation, demonstrating their understanding of relevant theories and principles of digital technologies to support strategic organisational education, training, and professional development. Participants reflect on their own digital technologies-supported education and learning experience and provide peer feedback to other participants to develop critical thinking and evaluative judgement skills.
