POLICY ANALYSIS FOR LEADING EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING |
Module Synopsis 單元概要 |
This core course, integrative and analytical in nature, aims to examine the policy trajectories behind the local and global developments of experiential learning. It adopts related concepts in policy studies and organisational theories to identify and analyse the various factors involved in the decision-making process of experiential learning. This course guides participants to explore how organisational culture, leadership style and mobilisation of collective engagement in practice may interact with each other to influence the implementation of experience learning. Since the implementation of experiential learning usually involves inter-professional and inter-organisational collaboration, the course also delves into the relations of decision makers’ perspectives on this kind of collaboration to the expected outcomes. Policy studies offer a practical value for understanding and improving the realities. Participants in the course have the opportunity to experience this practical value through collaborative learning, individual plan of action and reflection. |
