To prepare deputy primary school heads for their jobs effectively, they are required to equip with core school leadership skills and knowledge through both learning by doing and training programmes so as to face the challenges and act strategically for school effectiveness and school improvement. In order to sustain school development, this course provides school leadership models to participants through instructional leadership, transformational leadership, moral leadership, participative leadership, managerial leadership and contingent leadership, team leadership, transformational leadership and servant leadership. Through critically thinking, participants are able to examine the importance of school leadership to effective schooling, staff development, school improvement and educational reforms.
