Module Code 單元編號 EDA5068 Module Title 單元名稱 UNDERSTANDING JUVENILE JUSTICE SYSTEM 認識青少年司法制度 Module Synopsis 單元概要 This course aims to build the participants’ understanding of the Legal System in Hong Kong, in relation to the Criminal Justice System, with a major focus on the Juvenile Justice System. Course participants will be directed from a broad view of Rule of Law to Rule By Law and then to examine about the definition of law and how it is effected upon general public. There will be a thorough discussion about how Hong Kong court functions and the operations of the punitive system in Hong Kong. The work of police and how teachers can work with various law enforcement agencies in relation to investigating and combating juvenile crimes will also be explored.
