Module Code 單元編號 EDA5063 Module Title 單元名稱 FOUNDATIONS ON SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT 學校改進的知識基礎 Module Synopsis 單元概要 This course will critically examine key current issues related to school improvement, including different perspectives on educational change, leadership, school effectiveness and school improvement. Up-to-date knowledge, theories and practices drawing on school improvement experiences and evaluation will be introduced. School improvement projects and programmes will be critically examined, with special emphasis on locally implemented programmes. Practical experiences on comprehensive school improvement will be discussed, including understanding of the school context, setting school improvement plans and priorities, the effect of change agents, and the evaluation of action programmes. Local case studies of school improvement will be provided for discussion.
