Module Code 單元編號 ECWBP0023 Module Title 單元名稱 CARE AND PROTECTION OF YOUNG CHILDREN 幼兒的照顧與保護 Module Synopsis 單元概要 In this course, students will be introduced to the concepts and practices of health education, safety and care in early childhood settings. Emphasis is given to the ways of organizing a caring, safe and secure environment for children. Students will also be provided with the methods of assessing and monitoring the hygiene and safety conditions of early childhood settings. This course also familiarizes students with the techniques of preparing a well-planned and balanced menu to meet the needs of children. Students will be involved in planning daily routines and the design of activities to promote children's social well-being, health, safety and care. Child protection and code for the education profession of Hong Kong will also be introduced and discussed.
