Module Code 單元編號 ECECP0123 Module Title 單元名稱 EARLY CHILDHOOD CURRICULUM: THEORY AND PRACTICE 幼兒教育課程：理論與實踐 Module Synopsis 單元概要 The key principles of early childhood education guiding curriculum development that include fostering children’s overall development, promoting children’s construction of meaning, facilitating learning through interactions, enhancing learning through playful experiences and facilitating continuity in learning from early childhood to primary schools. In this course, students will be challenged to reflect on the early childhood curriculum in problem-based learning in Hong Kong’s context. The importance of the integration curriculum in early childhood education will be discussed.
