Module Code 單元編號 ECE4205 Module Title 單元名稱 DEVELOPING POTENTIALS OF YOUNG CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS Module Synopsis 單元概要 This course aims to develop students' knowledge and understanding of the multifaceted nature of human intelligence in order to broaden their attitudes and practices so as to meet the challenges of working with young children with special needs. Students are provided with theoretical knowledge and practical skills in order to develop the necessary pedagogy that help children with special needs to use their potential strengths to master different areas of learning in many pathways. By having a broad and comprehensive understanding of intelligence and the relevant programmes, students will then be encouraged and supported to examine the present educational practices and transfer what they learnt into teaching and learning so that children's potentials can be discovered early and developed through education.
