Module Code 單元編號 ECE4204 Module Title 單元名稱 ADVANCED PRACTICES IN ASSESSMENT AND INTERVENTION FOR CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS Module Synopsis 單元概要 This course is designed to promote better understanding of the psychological and educational problems of children with disabilities, as well as acquiring means of assessment and instructional intervention that are adapted to the learning and social-emotional needs of children in early childhood settings. Specific models and approaches for assessment and intervention in special education will be explicated. Emphasis will be put on students' critical and reflective examination on the selection of appropriate assessment and intervention tools on a case-by-case basis. Students will be able to practice with selected assessment and intervention tools by applying them to case studies. Case conference process will be hold for the class to share, analyze and extend their practical skills and experience.
