This course places early childhood education reform agendas of Hong Kong within the global context. It analyzes how early childhood education policies and practices in Hong Kong are linked with international educational movements. It navigates the tension between globalizing reform trends and local traditions and needs. The course invites you, as current or future preschool leaders, to reflect on how you will position yourself in relation to the reform debates, dilemmas and tensions.
