It also introduces a variety of teaching strategies and assessment practices to enhance young children’s language and literacy learning. It emphasizes on students’ active participation in analyzing young children’s speech and literacy samples, and students are expected to apply and evaluate current practices of young children’s language and literacy learning in a pre-school context in Hong Kong.
