Module Code 單元編號 ECE0151 Module Title 單元名稱 PROMOTING CHILDREN'S PHYSICAL FITNESS AND HEALTH Module Synopsis 單元概要 This course aims to enhance students’ understanding of the key content knowledge and pedagogical skills of children’s physical fitness and health. It prepares students to develop and implement creative curriculum which promote young children's physical health. It introduces relevant educational values, concepts and principles pertinent to preschool physical education, health-related physical fitness and health. Also, it covers measurement of health- related physical fitness for young children. The application of content knowledge and fundamental movement skills in designing and evaluating developmentally appropriate physical play will be emphasized.
