Module Code 單元編號 COU3033 Module Title 單元名稱 CAREER GUIDANCE AND COUNSELLING Module Synopsis 單元概要 This course enables students to understand contemporary career development theories, models and approaches to career guidance and counselling, and critically review their applications in professional and vocational education and training (VPET), including applied learning (ApL) and traditional professional and vocational education (PVE) contexts. Students will acquire knowledge to administer and interpret various career assessments to facilitate ApL and adult vocational learners’ self-understanding of their academic interests, abilities and career goals for long-term career development. Students will also develop theoretically-grounded knowledge and skills in plannning, implementing and evaluating career development programmes to prepare ApL and adult vocational learners for moving towards their career goals.
