Project Introduction

The project lasts for three academic years (2019 – 2022) and it aims to demonstrate the planning of Life Education in three specific aspects. Professional support and relevant activities are offered to participating schools based on essential and shared values, such as “Love and Care”, “Responsibility”, “Inclusiveness”, “Respect for Others”, “Integrity” etc. In the first stage, ten seed schools (two kindergartens, six primary schools, and two secondary schools) shall take part in the programme, followed by 20 partner schools in the second stage to share school models and development experience. This project will serve as the advance level of “Programme on Planning Life Education in Primary/Secondary Schools” with the hope of developing model schools in Life Education.

(Expected) Outcome

• To broaden teachers, parents and students’ horizons, accumulate life experience and to internalize good values (such as knowing oneself, emotion management, communication skills, value declaration, social cognition, lifelong learning and 21st century competence, etc.);
• To strengthen schools’ life and moral education through positive input on management and organization, teaching and curriculum, student support; and
• To benefit 580 teachers from 30 partner schools.
