    Co-organized by CRSE, Institute of Sino-Christian Studies, General Education Exchange Education of Roundtable and Global Ethic Foundation, Germany, the project is supported by Quality Education Fund and has lasted for 20 months from February 2014 to October 2015. The concept of “Global Ethic” of Hans Küng is adopted as the  framework for the development of school-based curriculum in the Key Area “Moral, Civic and National Education” of the Hong Kong school curriculum. Support in the area of curriculum development and other learning experiences are provided for 20 partner schools, covering both Key Stage 2 (Primary 4 to 6) and Key Stage 3 (Secondary 1 to 3), ensuring the continuity between the primary and secondary phases.

    Outcome

  • Developed the curriculum of “Global Ethic” covering both Key Stage 2 (Primary 4 to 6) and Key Stage 3 (Secondary 1 to 3) for 20 partner schools;
  • Benefited 546 teachers and 10136 students from 197 primary and secondary schools.
