curriculum: Issues and perspectives
Abstract:
The
new senior secondary subject of Liberal Studies will be made a core
curriculum starting from 2009. During the consultation period of the
provisional curriculum
guide, there have been lots of controversies and debates. This talk seeks
to: i) analyse the issues and problems that face the new curriculum in
teaching, learning and assessment from wider perspectives; and ii) suggest
some possible alternatives and solutions. |
