Head, IERU

Jae Park is an Assistant Professor in the Department for International Education and Lifelong Learning at the Education University of Hong Kong. He is currently President of the Comparative Education Society of Hong Kong (CESHK); a Visiting Lecturer and Research Associate of the University of Hong Kong; and a member of the Philosophy of Education Society of Great Britain since 2003.

Jae’s publishes in the fields of philosophy and sociology of education, ethics, educational management and administration, as well as the philosophy and sociology of technology. His books include Leadership of Recognition: A Philosophical Study and Sociological and Philosophical Perspectives on Education in the Asia-Pacific Region (co-edited with Chi Ming Lam).

Jae is a Journal Reviewer for the Journal of Educational Administration and History; and Asia Pacific Education Review. He also serves as an Editorial Committee member of the Journal of Communication and Education, as well as an external PhD thesis Examiner for the School of Education, University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia.
