The seminar will be conducted by Dr Margarita Pavlova who has more than twenty years of international work experience in education and development across a variety of contexts (Europe, Asia, USA and Australia) and levels of education. Her research and development activities have been concerned with policy, planning and development in technology education and technical vocational education and training (TVET) at both national and international levels. Her current projects are in the area of sustainable development, green skills and green jobs. She works as a consultant within the Asian Development Bank and UNESCO and is internationally recognised for her work as evidenced by invited keynote addresses, publications and submissions. She has published widely in the fields of her expertise including a sole authored book on Technology and vocational education for sustainable development: Empowering individuals for the future (Springer, 2009). Margarita currently serves on the editorial board of the International Journal of Vocational Education and Training.
