活動宗旨:

Objectives:

1. 欣賞中英文翻譯作品；

To appreciate translated literature; and

2. 掌握朗讀能力。

      To master read-aloud skills.

賽規：

Regulations:

1. 參賽者自行揀選中英對照的文章一篇（可節選或合併數段成篇）；

Participants could select one English article with Chinese translation or vice versa, on their own (excerpts are accepted);

2. 揀選文章可為中譯英，或英譯中；

Selected article can be in Chinese to English translation or vice versa;

3. 中文、英文字數各以200-300字為限；

The total number of words is limited to 200-300 for each language;

4. 所選翻譯作品，必須清楚列明出版資料；

The publication details must be listed out clearly;

5. 中英兩篇文章均須朗讀（中文篇章須用廣州話以書面語朗讀）；

Read aloud with two languages for selected articles. Use Cantonese to read Chinese article;

6. 錄音檔案請使用MP3或AAC格式；

The recording should be in MP3/AAC format;

7. 參賽作品將以文章選材、中英文發音、節奏語調、流暢度評分；

The entry will be judged according to the material selection, pronunciation of two languages, rhythmic intonation and fluency;

遞交參賽作品：

Submission:

1. 參賽錄音和文章，請傳送電郵到hkkan@eduhk.hk；

All participants should submit the recordings and article to this email: hkkan@eduhk.hk;

2. 參賽者請以「Bilingual Reading Aloud Competition for Translated Literature 2022-23」為電郵主題，並以教大SSID作檔名，寄上粵音錄音、英語錄音和選定作品文檔。檔案名稱格式：s1234567_Cantonese.mp3、s1234567_English.mp3、s1234567_article.doc。如電郵主題或檔案格式錯誤，將不獲參賽資格；

All participants should use「Bilingual Reading Aloud Competition for Translated Literature 2022-23」as email subject. The email should attach Cantonese recording, English recording and the selected article.  For the format of file name, please use EdU SSID as file name: s1234567_Cantonese.mp3、s1234567_English.mp3、s1234567_article.doc.  We will not accept the entry if format of the email subject or file names are wrong;

3. 傳送錄音和文章之後，必須完成回饋問卷。

All participants have to finish the evaluation after the submission.
