Research Chair Professor Looi Chee Kit of C&I Department was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Global Chinese Society for Computers in Education (GSCSE) on 3 June 2026, during the 30th Global Chinese Conference for Computers in Education held at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. The award recognises his outstanding scholarly contributions to the field of computers in education, as well as his distinguished achievements in spearheading innovation and promoting the spirit of education. The citation further notes that his long-standing dedication and excellence have not only profoundly influenced his academic peers but have also set a benchmark for the future development of the field.
