Mr. Qibang Su Awarded Travel Scholarship for Participation in the 19th Asia-Pacific Network for Moral Education Annual Conference

On 5 November 2025, Mr. Qibang Su (Bang), a second-year Doctor of Education (EdD) student in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction (C&I) at The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK), represented his research team by delivering an oral presentation at the 19th Annual Conference of the Asia-Pacific Network for Moral Education (APNME) held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Collaborating with Dr. Zhenzhou Zhao and Professor Kerry John Kennedy, Mr. Su presented a paper entitled “National Security Education in Hong Kong’s Universities: Student Agency for New Pedagogies.”

The APNME conference, an impactful international forum, drew scholars from diverse regions, including Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong SAR, the Chinese Mainland, Japan, Australia, the Netherlands, and beyond. In recognition of his active engagement and scholarly contribution, Mr. Su was awarded a travel scholarship of USD 500 to support his participation in this significant event.
