Music Subject Requirements

• A high level of performance ability in one instrument (or voice)
• Satisfactory performance in the music subject test
• Theory/ Aural Test (45 minutes)
• Practical Test (You are required to play / sing one piece of work around 5 minutes in length which should best reflect your music competency)
• Face-to-face Interview (5-10 minutes)
  
  * candidates are required to bring along their instrument (except for piano) for the practical test

Minimum Requirement for Applying Entrance Scholarship

• TWO “Grade 8” in instrumental / vocal performance of ABRSM; or
• ONE “Grade 8 with Distinction” or above in instrumental / vocal performance of ABSRM; or
• Any other equivalent qualifications
