Governance Report 管治報告 The Education University of Hong Kong Annual Report 2024-2025 80 Mr KWOK Wing-keung 郭永強先生，BBS, MH, JP Member 成員 Since 25 April 2023 自二零二三年四月二十五日起出任 Mr Kwok Wing-keung is a seasoned educator with over 20 years’ experience as a secondary school principal, currently serving as Principal of Law Ting Pong Secondary School. He has made significant contributions to both the education sector and the community. Mr Kwok is currently the Chairman of the Tai Po District Association of Secondary School Heads, a member of the Education Commission, the Constitution and Basic Law Promotion Steering Committee, the Tai Po District Youth Development and Civic Education Committee, and the Tai Po District Fight Crime Committee. He is also a member of the Advisory Committee on Applied Physics at Hong Kong Polytechnic University and the Departmental Advisory Committee of Mathematics at City University of Hong Kong. Mr Kwok has held a number of public offices, including membership on the Task Force on Review of School Curriculum, the University Grants Committee, and the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority Council and its committees, where he chaired the Grading Committee and the Language Proficiency Assessment for Teachers Main Committee, and served on the School Examinations Board and the Basic Competency Assessment Main Committee. He has also served as a member of the Departmental Advisory Committee on Computing at Hong Kong Polytechnic University and the Advisory Committee on Information Engineering at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. At the community level, Mr Kwok has chaired the Tai Po District Fight Crime Committee, the Tai Po District Committee on Promotion of Civic Education and the Tai Po District Youth Development and Civic Education Committee. He has also served as a member of both the Action Committee Against Narcotics and the Fight Crime Committee. 郭永強先生為一位資深教育工作者，擁有逾二十年中學校長經驗，現任羅定邦中學校長。他在教育界和社 區方面均作出卓越貢獻。 郭先生現任大埔區中學校長會主席、教育統籌委員會委員、憲法和基本法推廣督導委員會委員、大埔區青 年發展及公民教育委員會委員，以及大埔區撲滅罪行委員會委員。他亦是香港理工大學應用物理學系顧問 委員會及香港城市大學數學系顧問委員會成員。 郭先生曾出任多項公職，包括：學校課程檢討專責小組成員、大學教育資助委員會委員、香港考試及評核 局委員會委員及其轄下委員會：評級委員會主席、教師語文能力評核委員會主席，會考委員會及基本能力 評估委員會委員。他亦曾擔任香港理工大學電子計算學系顧問委員會及香港中文大學信息工程學系諮詢委 員會成員。 在社區服務方面，郭先生曾擔任大埔區撲滅罪行委員會主席、大埔區公民教育運動委員會主席，以及大埔 區青年發展及公民教育委員會主席；並曾擔任禁毒常務委員會委員及撲滅罪行委員會委員。
