香港教育大學 2024-2025 年報 7 President’s Overview 校長的話 Global Recognition and Academic Excellence Upon our anniversary celebrations, good news kept rolling in. In the latest Times Higher Education World University Rankings, EdUHK made an extraordinary debut, landing in the world’s top 10% at 195th globally. Our strength in education was further validated by placing 12th worldwide, fourth in Asia and second in Hong Kong in the QS World Rankings by Subject 2025. These achievements, alongside the highly positive audit by the Quality Assurance Council under the University Grants Committee, affirm our academic and research excellence and growing reputation in the global arena, and should serve as a beacon to our future strategic development. Strategic Vision 2025-2031: Education for a Dynamic Future This May, we unveiled Strategic Plan 2025-2031 under the theme ‘Education Futures’, outlining the University’s comprehensive vision for its next phase of development. ‘Futures’, in its plural form, embodies both promise and peril: in our unprecedentedly interconnected digital age, we celebrate imagination, collaboration, cross-disciplinary thinking, life and values education, even as moral, philosophical, and social challenges loom on the horizon. To prepare students for such complex and volatile times, we have oriented our education towards cultivating future-ready educators and professionals equipped with cutting-edge knowledge, digital literacy, adaptability, and strong moral character to thrive in the digital age. This includes transforming all undergraduate education programmes into double-degree schemes, ensuring our future teachers possess both pedagogical expertise and disciplinary depth. Exit requirements for teachers’ professional conduct and ethics have also been introduced for students in education or double degree programmes to meet evolving professional standards. 學術卓越 享譽全球 校慶之際,喜訊頻傳。在最新的「泰晤士高等教育」世界 大學排名中,教大首次參與便躋身全球前10%,排名第 一百九十五位;此外,在「2025年QS世界大學學科排名」 中,我們的教育學科排名榮登全球第十二位,亞洲第 四,香港第二,進一步突顯我們在教育界的領導地位。 值得一提的是,大學教育資助委員會質素保證局亦給予 教大高度正面的評審結果,充分印證了我們在學術研究 與人才培育方面的卓越表現,以及在國際舞台日益上升 的影響力。無庸置疑,這些成就為我們未來的策略發展 提供了明確的方向與信心。 六年策略願景:多元未來的培育 今年五月,我們正式發佈了以「教育未來」為主題的《策 略發展計劃2025-2031》,勾勒出教大下一階段的全面發 展藍圖。「未來」在英文中以複數形式呈現,寓意著希 望與挑戰並存。在前所未有的互聯互通的數碼時代,我 們鼓勵大家勇於想像、促進協作、擁抱跨界思維,以及 重視生命價值觀教育,但同時也必須正視來自道德、哲 學及社會各層面的挑戰。 為幫助學生應對複雜多變的未來,我們矢志培育面向 未來的教育工作者與專業人才,裝備他們具備前沿知 識、數碼素養、適應力與高尚品格,以在數碼時代茁壯 成長。為此,我們將所有教育學士課程革新為雙學位課 程,確保未來教師既擁有專業的學科知識,也具備多元 學科底蘊。此外,所有入讀教師培訓課程或雙學位課程 的學生,均須符合「教師專業操守與道德要求」,以應 對日益提升的職業標準與挑戰。 EdUHK's 30th Anniversary Banquet 教大舉行三十周年校慶晚宴
