香港教育大學 2024-2025 年報 49 Towards an Inclusive and Sustainable Community 邁向共融與可持續的社群 透過廣泛的社區外展工作，我們積極推廣可持續發展理 念，包括舉辦與聯合國可持續發展目標相關的主題活 動，及推行「賽馬會綠續．源園」計劃等多項舉措，鼓 勵節能減廢及採納可持續的生活方式。 此外，我們還與非政府組織及社區團體合作，在大嶼山 推行廚餘轉化項目，將廢料轉化為有價值資源，支持 養料循環及可持續農業發展，以推動循環經濟及資源效 益。 推動綠色學習 共建美好未來 教大秉持聯合國可持續發展目標，致力構建可持續與共 融的學習環境。即將落成的大埔校園新教學大樓預計於 二零二六年初竣工。大樓採用環保設計及先進技術，在 推動STEM及人工智能教育的同時，降低對環境的影響。 此外，教大位於西九文化區戲曲中心與M+大樓的新教 學中心，分別於二零二五年及二零二六年啟用，成為跨 學科協作、文化交流及能力提升的活力樞紐。這些設施 充分體現教大對可持續創新、共融教育及優質教育的承 諾，裝備學生應對日益迫切的全球挑戰。 在教大，可持續發展理念已融入我們使命的每一個層 面 — 從開創性研究與共融教育，到校園運作及社區協 作，我們矢志構建具備堅韌精神、公平意識及環境責任 感的社會，為下一代建設更光明的未來。 The New Academic Building on Tai Po Campus is scheduled for completion in early 2026 位於大埔校園的新教學大樓預計於二零二六年初建成 In our broader community outreach, we actively promoted sustainability awareness through activities such as retreats about the SDGs and initiatives under the Jockey Club Sustainable Campus Consumer Programme. These programmes encouraged energy saving, waste reduction, and the adoption of sustainable lifestyles. Furthermore, we launched a food waste transformation project on Lantau Island, collaborating with NGOs and community groups to convert waste into valuable resources. This initiative supports nutrient recycling for sustainable agriculture, fostering a circular economy and resource efficiency. Building the Future of Green Learning In line with the SDGs, EdUHK is committed to creating sustainable, inclusive learning environments. The upcoming New Academic Building on our Tai Po campus, scheduled for completion in early 2026, features eco-conscious design and advanced technologies to facilitate STEM and AI education while minimising environmental impact. New study centres at the Xiqu Centre and M+ Building in the West Kowloon Cultural District, opening in 2025 and 2026 respectively, are to serve as vibrant hubs for interdisciplinary collaboration, cultural exchange, and capacity-building. These facilities exemplify our commitment to sustainable innovation and inclusive quality education, equipping students to address pressing global challenges. At EdUHK, sustainability is embedded in every aspect of our mission – from pioneering research and inclusive education to campus operations and community engagement. We strive to foster a resilient, equitable, and environmentally responsible society, building a brighter future for generations to come.
