香港教育大學 2024-2025 年報 39 Forging Strong Partnerships 建立緊密的夥伴關係 Building on this momentum, in April 2025 we hosted a distinguished reception at the American Educational Research Association annual conference in Denver. Under the theme ‘EdUHK: Empowering Education for Asia and Beyond’, the event gathered over 400 scholars, researchers, and experts from158 universities and eight organisations across 24 countries to share insights, forge new collaborations, and envision the future of education. As reflected by our strategic vision of ‘Education Futures’, we believe the future of education and social progress lie in leveraging technologies intelligently and responsibly to foster social equity, elevate teaching, research and learning, and cater to the unique needs, background, abilities and interests of each student. In May 2025, we hosted the Harvard-EdUHKStanford Joint Symposiumon Emerging Technologies and Future Talents on our campus. Over three days, scholars and industry leaders fromaround the world explored how innovations such as AI, themetaverse, and intelligent reality will revolutionise teaching, learning, and talent development. A stronghold of educational research, the University takes pride in having founded the Global Research Institute for Finnish Education (nowGlobal Research Institute for Finnish, European, and Global South Education) in 2023. In June 2025, it held its second annual conference themed ‘Education Innovation and Talent Development for a Sustainable Future: Chinese, Finnish, and Global Perspectives’, drawing the largest group in years to generate transformative insights through comparing the world’s education models. Through extended partnerships and studies on education reforms in other European countries and regions of the Global South, the institute will continue to serve as a bridge between diverse educational ecosystems, advocating innovative, equitable and sustainable education through interdisciplinary research and global dialogue. Together, these initiatives exemplify our unwavering belief: that through global collaboration and shared vision, we can unlock education’s transformative potential and build amore innovative, inclusive, and sustainable world. 乘勢而上,二零二五年四月,我們參加了美國教育研究 協會在美國丹佛舉行的年會,並舉辦高規格招待會, 以「教大:為亞洲及全球賦能教育」為題,匯聚了來自 二十四個國家一百五十八間大學和八個機構的四百多位 學者、研究人員與專家,一同分享洞見,締結新合作及 展望未來教育。 秉持「教育未來」的策略願景,我們相信教育未來與社 會進步,取決於明智且負責任地善用科技,以求促進社 會公平,提升教學、研究和學習質素,並能滿足每位學 生的獨特需求、背景、能力和興趣。二零二五年五月, 我們在校園內舉辦了哈佛 — 香港教大 — 斯坦福聯合論 壇「新興科技與未來人才」,為期三天的活動匯聚了來 自世界各地的學者和行業領袖,共同探討人工智能、元 宇宙和智能現實等創新技術,如何顛覆教、學與人才培 養。 作為教育研究的重鎮,教大引以為傲的成就之一是於 二零二三年成立的全球芬蘭教育研究所(現為全球教育 研究所:芬蘭、歐洲與全球南方國家)。二零二五年六 月,該研究所舉辦了第二屆年會,主題為「面向可持 續未來的教育創新與人才培養:中國、芬蘭及全球視 角」。此次年會匯聚歷年最大規模的參會群體,透過比 較世界各地的教育模式,碰撞出變革性的思想洞見。 研究所將通過深化與其他歐洲國家及全球南方地區的合 作,開展教育改革的相關研究,為不同的教育生態系統 搭建橋樑,並將繼續透過跨學科研究及全球對話,倡導 創新、公平與可持續教育理念。 這些舉措共同印證了我們堅定的信念:唯有透過全球合 作與共享願景,才能釋放教育的變革潛力,共建更具創 新性、包容性與可持續性的世界。
