The visionary infrastructure and economic development strategy offers a unique opportunity to build bridges of knowledge-sharing and cultural understanding between continents. By engaging with partner countries, we seek to turn educational collaboration into a catalyst for regional growth, intercultural dialogue, and social innovation. In February 2025, President Professor John Lee Chi-Kin led a delegation to Almaty to inaugurate the EdUHK-Kazakh Academy of Education, which the University co-established with Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University and Kazakh National Women’s Teacher Training University. With a deep focus on teacher training, educational innovation and intercultural learning, the academy spearheads academic exchange in AI in education, educational assessment, educational leadership and inclusive education, with strong backing from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan and the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in Almaty. In a similar fashion, our collaboration with the Ministry of Education of Brunei and Universiti Brunei Darussalam reflects our dedication to teacher capacity building, as we co-established a regional educational institute to enhance teacher training across borders. 塑造「一帶一路」國家的教育新格局 隨著教大在成長與創新路上不斷邁進,我們展望互聯互 通、全球共融的未來,並透過「一帶一路」倡議實踐宏 偉願景。這項高瞻遠矚的基礎建設與經濟發展策略,為 搭建各大洲之間的知識共享與文化理解的橋樑提供了獨 特機遇。透過與夥伴國的合作,我們期望將教育協作轉 化為推動區域發展、跨文化對話及社會創新的催化劑。 二零二五年二月,教大校長李子建教授率團前往阿拉木 圖市,為「香港教育大學 — 哈薩克教育研究院」舉行開 幕禮。該研究院由教大與哈薩克斯坦阿拜國立師範大學 及哈薩克斯坦國立女子師範大學合作共建,旨在深化教 師培訓、教育創新與跨文化學習,並在人工智能教育、 教育評估、教育領導力及融合教育等多個領域開展學術 交流。是次合作得到哈薩克斯坦共和國科學高等教育 部,以及中國駐阿拉木圖總領事館的大力支持。同樣, 教大亦與汶萊教育部和汶萊達魯薩蘭大學攜手共建區域 性教育研究機構,體現我們在加強跨境教師培訓的不懈 努力與承諾。 Our expansive network of cooperation and partnerships spans universities in Cambodia, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Turkey and Vietnam, as well as governments and higher education institutions in Oman, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. Notablemilestones include supporting research projects through the UAEU-EdUHK Joint Research Grant, and expanding our partnership with UmmAl-Qura University in Saudi Arabia to offer workshops on research skills and establish a student exchange programme that enabled a lively bilateral flow of students in the summer of 2025. 我們龐大的合作網絡遍及位於柬埔寨、印尼、新加坡、 泰國、土耳其和越南的大學,以及阿曼、沙特阿拉伯及 阿聯酋的政府與高等教育機構。其中重要的里程碑包括 透過「阿聯酋大學 — 教大聯合研究基金」為研究項目提 供資助。此外,教大亦拓展了與沙特阿拉伯烏姆.庫拉 大學的合作,為該校舉辦提升研究技能的工作坊,並於 二零二五年暑假期間,開展雙向學生交流計劃。
