We organised inspiring teaching exchanges at Beijing Language and Culture University, fostering cross-cultural understanding and academic excellence. In June 2025, in partnership with Tsinghua University, we hosted a forward-looking forum on ‘Future Education and Learning’, exploring how AI is transforming education and inspiring new visions for the future. A landmark collaborative achievement of the year under review goes to the establishment of the Principals and Teachers Synergistic Innovation Training Centre at EdUHK – an inspiring hub dedicated to nurturing a dynamic teaching force that keeps abreast of times across the Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong SAR and Macao SAR. Launched amidst vibrant autumnal colours, the centre marks a milestone in creating a sustainable mechanism for ongoing teacher exchange and professional development. Supported by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China, the Education Bureau in Hong Kong SAR, and other key stakeholders, the centre’s training programmes have brought together principals and teachers from across the country to explore STEAM education, AI and 21st century skills. This initiative richly represents a visionary attempt to create a new paradigm of cross-border educational exchange, where educators from diverse backgrounds blend their expertise, share their visions, and inspire one another to elevate their teaching practices. 我們的合作軌跡亦覆蓋研究範疇,包括與北京大學中國 語言學研究中心、華東師範大學和山東大學建立研究夥 伴關係,每項合作都為探索與創新開辟了新路徑。我們 在北京語言大學舉辦了富有啟發性的教學交流,促進跨 文化理解與學術卓越。二零二五年六月,我們與清華大 學合辦「未來教育與學習」前瞻論壇,共同探討人工智 能如何重塑教育,啟迪未來新視野。 今年另一項標誌性的合作成果是「校長與教師協同創新 培訓中心」的設立。這個在美好金秋時節啟動的培訓基 地,致力於培育與時並進的內地與港澳教師隊伍,成為 開創教師相互交流與專業發展常態化機制的里程碑。中 心獲得中華人民共和國教育部、香港特區政府教育局及 其他重要持份者的支持,參與中心培訓項目的校長和教 師來自全國不同地區,他們共同探索STEAM教育、人工 智能及二十一世紀技能等主題。該舉措堪稱建構跨境教 育交流的新範例,讓來自不同背景的教育工作者融匯專 業、分享願景、互相啟迪並提升教學實踐。 An EdUHK delegation, together with Chinese Foreign Affairs University senior management and staff in front of the statue of Chen Yi 教大代表團與外交學院領導及工 作人員在陳毅像前留影
