A keen sportswomanwho is training hard for theOlympics, Mak is amember of the University’s basketball and soccer teams, and she has had her first taste of contact rugby at the University and gone on to represent Hong Kong, China in the Super Seven Series in the United Kingdom. 麥卓穎,香港女子帆船運動員,十三歲時在Techno 293滑浪風帆世界錦標賽為香港奪得U15女子組史上首枚金牌。她現於教 大修讀體育教育課程,立志將來成為一名體育教師,培養兒童對運動與健康生活的熱愛。作為一名積極備戰奧運的運動員, 她亦是教大籃球和足球隊的成員,更在校內首次接觸英式橄欖球後,獲選代表中國香港出戰英國超級七人欖球系列賽,展現 多元運動才能。 Ho Cheuk-kiu, a Year 2 student in physical education, is a Chinese martial arts champion who reaped multiple awards in the First China-ASEAN Wushu Championship in 2024, among others. Like many, he got into Chinese martial arts to improve his health and physique. What makes him persevere, though, is the invaluable values and philosophies imbuing this traditional art. Inspired and uplifted by this distinctive art, he aspires to perfect his skills and mindset and promotes this gem of Chinese culture to the University community and the wider public. 何卓橋,體育教育課程二年級學生,中國武術冠軍,在二零二四年首屆中國 — 東盟武術錦標賽及其他賽事中奪得多個獎項。 與許多人一樣,他最初習武的目的是為強身健體,但中華武術蘊含的寶貴價值觀與哲學理念成為他堅持的動力。受這門獨特 藝術的啟迪與鼓舞,他立志精益求精,將中華文化瑰寶推廣至大學社群及廣大公眾。
