香港教育大學 2023-2024 年報 7 President’s Overview 校長的話 To this end, we established two new academies last year: the Academy for Educational Development and Innovation (AEDI) and the Academy for Applied Policy Studies and Education Futures (AAPSEF). Guided by the country’s focus on education, science, and innovation as pillars for national development, these academies enhance interdisciplinary synergy, serving as platforms for collaboration and high-quality comparative studies. They cover diverse areas such as teacher education, special education, vocational training, applied policy research, national security, artificial intelligence (AI), metaverse education, Chinese language, and intangible cultural heritage education. Our entire EdUHK community works together to nurture students’ comprehensive growth across five fundamental dimensions: ethics, intellect, physical and mental health, social skills, and aesthetics. These dimensions are as important today as they have always been, as they enable students to be open-minded, empathetic, and embrace positive values and innovation in a rapidly changing world. 為實踐這一使命,教大去年成立了兩所新學院,分別為 「教育發展與創新學院」,以及「應用政策研究與教育未 來學院」。這兩所學院全面貫徹國家在教育、科技與人 才發展上的戰略部署,推動跨學科協同合作,並致力成 為促進高質量合作與比較研究的平台。學院的研究範疇 涵蓋教師教育、特殊教育、職業培訓、應用政策研究、 國家安全、人工智能、元宇宙教育、中國語言及非物質 文化遺產教育等多元領域。 教大全體同仁將攜手並進,在道德修養、智性發展、身 心健康、社交能力及美學素養等五大核心領域,促進學 生的全面成長。確保他們在瞬息萬變的世界中擁有開放 的態度、同理心、正向價值觀及勇於創新的精神。
