Governance Report 管治報告 香港教育大學 2023-2024 年報 61 Professor Terence CHAN Ho-wah 陳浩華教授 Deputy Chairman of the Council 校董會副主席 Since 1 May 2022 自二零二二年五月一日起出任 Professor Terence Chan is the Chairman of Bay Area Capital Partners Limited, a Hong Kong SFC licensed asset management firm that focuses on private equity investment in the area of real estate & infrastructure asset, property & construction technology, clean energy, fintech, environmental, social and governance (ESG) enhancement and smart cities applications. Professor Chan serves as an independent non-executive director of three companies listed on the Main Board of The Hong Kong Stock Exchange, namely, Shanghai Industrial Urban Development Group Limited, CASH Financial Services Group Limited and Wang On Properties Limited. He has been an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Real Estate and Construction of The University of Hong Kong with main areas of research in cross-border real estate investment, asset securitisation, technology application and sustainable development. Professor Chan not only holds a PhD in Economics and an MSc in Real Estate, but also possesses professional fellow membership in CPA Australia (FCPA) and Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS) as well as the professional designation of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). He is the Chairman of ESG & Sustainable Investment Committee of Hong Kong Independent NonExecutive Director Association, a Member of the Infrastructure Development Advisory Committee of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council and a Member of the Mainland Opportunities Committee of Financial Services Development Council. He is also a Member of the Chinese Association of Hong Kong & Macao Studies of the State Council and a Member of the Election Committee of the HKSAR Government. Professor Chan actively participates in education and social service. He was a Council and Court Member of Hong Kong Baptist University. He is currently an Honorary Court Member of Hong Kong Baptist University, the Entrepreneur Committee Member of the Hong Kong Baptist University Foundation, a Member of the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications, the Chairman of the Advisory Board of Business Discipline of the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education, a Member of the Advisory Committee of Graduate Employment of The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong, the Vice-Chairman of Security and Guarding Services Industry Authority and a Member of the Witness Protection Review Board of Security Bureau, the Deputy Chairman of the District Fire Safety Committee (Central & Western District), the Chairman of the Lantau District Junior Police Call Honorary President Council, a Panel Member of Higher Rights Assessment Board and an Observer of the Independent Police Complaints Council. 陳浩華教授為香港證監會持牌資產管理企業 – 灣區資本有限公司主席，公司主要從事管理房地產及基建、 地產╱建築科技、清潔能源、金融科技、改善可持續發展技術及智慧城市應用的私募股權基金。陳教授現 亦擔任三家在香港聯合交易所主板上市公司（即上海實業城市開發集團有限公司、時富金融服務集團有限公 司及宏安地產有限公司）的獨立非執行董事。陳教授同時為香港大學房地產及建設系兼任教授，研究領域包 括跨境房地產投融資、資產證券化、科技應用及可持續發展。 陳教授除了擁有經濟學博士及房地產學碩士學位，他亦是澳洲資深註冊會計師(FCPA Aust)、英國資深皇家 特許測量師(FRICS) 及美國特許金融分析師(CFA)。 他現擔任香港獨立非執行董事協會可持續投資委員會主席、香港貿易發展局基建發展服務諮詢委員會委員 及香港金融發展局內地機遇委員會委員。陳教授亦分別獲國務院港澳辦委任為全國港澳研究會會員及香港 特區政府委任為選舉委員會委員。 陳教授積極參與教育和社會服務。他曾任香港浸會大學校董會和諮議會成員，現為香港浸會大學諮議會榮 譽委員、香港浸會大學基金企業家委員會委員、香港學術及職業資歷評審局大會成員、香港專業教育學院 商科顧問委員會主席、香港恆生大學就業諮詢委員會成員、保安局保安及護衛業管理委員會副主席及保護 證人覆核委員會委員、中西區防火委員會副主席、大嶼山區少年警訊名譽會長會主席、較高級法院出庭發 言權評核委員會備選委員小組成員及獨立監察警方處理投訴委員會觀察員。
