香港教育大學 2022-2023 年報 21 Research and Knowledge Transfer 研究及知識轉移 2017 The World Bank project was awarded to EdUHK in 2017, with the University’s expert team providing the World Bank and selected comprehensive universities in Vietnamwith consultancy services and advice to tie in with the country’s tertiary education reform agenda. The three selected universities include VietnamNational University Ho Chi Minh City, VietnamNational University Hanoi, and The University of Danang 教大於二零一七年獲世界銀行委任,由教大專家團隊為越南重 點大學提供意見及顧問服務,包括越南胡志明市國家大學、越 南河內國家大學及峴港大學,提升及改革當地大學和教師教育 的制度 Since 2020, EdUHK has collaborated with six leading Cambodian universities, including Institute of Technology of Cambodia, National University of Battambang, Royal University of Agriculture, Royal University of Phnom Penh, Svay Rieng University, and University of Heng Samrin Thbongkhmum, to enhance the professional competencies of higher education teachers and foster collaborative research and knowledge transfer in Cambodia 自二零二零年起,教大與柬埔寨六所主要大學,包括柬埔寨理 工學院、國立馬德望大學、皇家農業大學、金邊皇家大學、柬 埔寨柴楨大學和柬埔寨韓桑林大學攜手,致力提升當地大學教 師的專業水平,並促進兩地的研究協作和知識轉移 2020 The 10 EdUHK start-up teams selected to be based at the Hong Kong Science Park 10間教大獲獎初創企業將進駐 香港科學園 研究投資 隨着研究策略成果顯著,教大繼續投資於研究資源和學 科知識。本校已開始建設兩所全新及大學層級的研究 所,一所專注於數據科學及人工智能,而另一所則涵蓋 人類行為神經科學,預計可於二零二三年第四季啟用, 為首席研究員、學生及研究人員提供先進科技平台,進 一步拓展多元學科協作,營造跨學科學術氛圍,爭取更 大規模的研究資助及提高研究成果品質。為吸引世界各 地研究人才,教大引進「研究助理教授」新職級,通過 跨學科的方式融合科技與教學法,爭取外部資金,進行 高質量研究。 Investment in research With its research strategy bearing fruit, the University continued to invest in resources and expertise. Work began on two University-level research facilities – one for data science and artificial intelligence, and the other covering human behavioural neuroscience – which will open in the last quarter of 2023. The new research facilities will provide state-of-the-art technological platforms for principal investigators, students and research personnel. They will also help develop multidisciplinary collaboration and foster a crossdisciplinary research culture for applying for large-scale research grants and producing high-quality research output. In a strategic initiative to attract research talent from different parts of the world, the University introduced a new rank of Research Assistant Professors, whose role is to integrate technology with pedagogy using a cross-disciplinary approach, and to secure external competitive grants and produce high-quality research.
