The Education University of Hong Kong Annual Report 2022-2023 14 Learning and Teaching 學與教 In addition to providing learning opportunities in the GBA, the University launched the ‘Chinese History Education Scheme’ during the reporting period to bring together eminent academics in the field to foster scholarly exchanges and create intellectual and pedagogical synergy. Two distinguished scholars from Peking University, Professor Chen Suzhen and Professor Sun Hua, were appointed in the 2022-23 academic year as the first batch of visiting professors, followed by the appointment of Professor Zhao Dongmei and Professor Niu Dayong in 2023-24. Professor Ge Zhaoguang – a celebrated historian from Fudan University – was appointed Honorary Professor in the Faculty of Humanities in October 2022. 除了大灣區學習體驗,教大推出「中國歷史教育計劃」, 邀請在相關領域有非凡成就的著名學者到校出任訪問教 授,促進學術交流。北京大學陳蘇鎮教授及孫華教授於 二零二二至二三學年成為首批訪問教授,隨後邀得趙冬 梅教授及牛大勇教授於二零二三至二四學年到訪。復旦 大學著名歷史學家葛兆光教授則於二零二二年十月,獲 委任為人文學院榮譽教授。 多元學科人才 教大一直推廣多元化課程,於本學年推出九個全新的跨 學科學士學位課程,涵蓋運動科學及教練、人工智能及 教育科技,以及綜合環境管理等,並於年內迎來第一屆 新生。這些課程滿足本地新興行業的人力需求,深受香 港中學文憑試學生歡迎。當中,教大三個最受歡迎的課 程共吸引逾三千名申請者填報為組別A的課程志願,競 爭激烈。在二零二二年七月大學聯招改選後,競爭最激 烈的課程由三十八人爭奪一個學額。 在研究院研究生課程方面,教大於年內推出多個授課式 研究學位,涵蓋體驗式學習、領導創新組織和全球教育 研究等領域。這些課程廣受歡迎,年內報讀人數按年增 長達54%。 From left: Prof Ge Zhaoguang, Prof Sun Hua and Prof Chen Suzhen 左起:葛兆光教授、孫華教授及陳蘇鎮教授 A student conducts block practice in a GBA partner school 學生於大灣區夥伴學校實習 Multidisciplinary talent EdUHK has been diversifying the profiles of its academic programmes and welcomed the first cohort of undergraduate students for nine new multidisciplinary programmes during the year, covering sports science and coaching, AI and educational technology, and integrated environmental management, among others. Tailored to cater for the talent needs of various emerging sectors, these programmes were well received among Diploma of Secondary Education candidates. The three most popular programmes attracted over 3,000 Band A applications. For the most competitive one, an average of 38 applicants competed for each place in the JUPAS main round after modification of programme choices in July 2022. At the postgraduate level, a number of new taught master’s degree programmes were launched during the year – covering the areas of experiential learning, innovative leadership and global studies in education. The year saw a 54% increase, compared with 2021-22, in the total number of applications received for taught master’s degree programmes.
