Funding for the construction of a new Academic Building has been approved, and renovation works for the town centre in North Point are expected to be completed in 2023. EdUHK has also entered into discussions with government bureaux and other relevant parties concerning the proposed reprovisioning of its five-hectare Pak Shek Kok Sports Complex. 教大以「教育為本.超越教育」的方針創建教研空間, 新教學大樓的撥款已獲通過,而北角市區教學中心的 翻新工程則預計於二零二三年完成。與此同時,教大 正與政策局及相關機構商討重置佔地五公頃的白石角 運動中心。 New Academic Building construction To be connected with the existing academic blocks, the new eight-storey Academic Building will provide a net operating floor area of 7,600 square metres for learning, teaching and research upon completion in 2025-26. As the first major campus development project since the inauguration of the Tai Po campus in 1997, it will support our teaching and research through the application of educational technology, pedagogy and interactive learning, especially in the context of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). In addition to the re-provisioned basketball court on the rooftop, there will be classrooms, lecture theatres, laboratories, workspace, learning commons, and a 400-seat, multi-functional auditorium for faculty members and students.
