Research and Knowledge Transfer 研究與知識轉移 The Education University of Hong Kong Annual Report 2021-2022 24 Making a regional impact The regional knowledge transfer project funded by the World Bank entered its second year, with a group of Doctor of Education students from Cambodia starting their studies at EdUHK. It aims to improve the inclusiveness and quality of learning and teaching, and enhance the research capacity in the Cambodian higher education sector. EdUHK also signed a partnership agreement with the Royal University of Phnom Penh to help train early childhood education specialists and establish a curriculum in Cambodia. Another major project was undertaken by the UNEVOC Centre (Hong Kong) led by EdUHK scholars. The Centre provides training for technical and vocational educators in mainland China, Mongolia, Nigeria, the Philippines and Saudi Arabia to build their green capacity. In a related development, the University became an affiliate member of the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO), a regional intergovernmental platform to promote cooperation in education, science and culture.
