BSocScEd(GCS) Graduate (2012/13) After graduating from Hong Kong Institute of Education (HKIEd) in 2013, I subsequently joined Henderson Land Development Co. Ltd. as an Assistant Project coordinator. I have been taking part in different construction projects, such as residential projects, A&A works of commercial building and shopping centre renovation. This job has been very challenging for me since I did not possess any engineering knowledge. However, I do relish the challenge and am excited to learn new things on a daily basis. The undergraduate programme of Greater China Studies helped me become an ambitious learner, to be more presentable and detail-oriented. BSocScEd(GCS) Graduate   The GCS Programme provided us with hands-on learning experience through working on various individual and team projects, especially the internship programme where I was assigned to work with the Civic Party during their 2012 legislative council election campaign. I had the opportunity to work with the council members and participated in both their frontline and back office operations, which included brainstorming different tactics for the campaign. It was one of the more precious experiences I had in my life. Most importantly, I thank Hong Kong Institute of Education (HKIEd) and the Lecturers who supported us and guided us to learn beyond the classroom.

I graduated last year in 2014 and I am currently working as a flight attendant with Hong Kong Dragon Airline Limited (Dragonair). For me, Greater China Studies (GCS) is a knowledgeable and informative Programme, it contained a wide range of information on the Greater China region as well as offering an international perspective, and for example, the Programme covered history, politics and law study, pedagogy, gender study and the relationship on Greater China region. The Programme also included a variety of elective subjects to choose from depending on your own interest. For me, I selected some communication base subjects during each semester, such as interpersonal, teaching and workplace communication. This Programme helped broaden my vision and allowed me to train my critical thinking abilities through group discussions, group pro

BSocScEd(GCS) Graduate (2013/14)   I graduated from GCS in 2014 and I am currently a postgraduate student at the University of Edinburgh in the U.K. GCS is more than a general undergraduate course which consists of interpersonal relations development and multi-skills building other that basic academic knowledge. Numerous opportunities are offered to GCS students from general course activities to uni-scale campaign. The courses of GCS Programme really aroused my interest in the academic field especially in social research and induced my intention to further my studies abroad as well as building up a ‘better me’!
