Dr Flora Wu Xiaofang

Pursuing PhD degree from APS has constituted a turning point in my lifespan, and definitely the best decision I have ever made. After acquiring my master degree from Nanjing University in mainland, I was recommended to follow Professor MOK Ka Ho for PhD studying in the social policy field. His intellectual supervision, mature experience and steadfast support helped me finishing PhD study in short three years. As the first cohort of PhD students of EDUHK, I was lucky to have multi-disciplinary academic training, which has laid solid foundation for my future incorporated research. I am currently working in South China Normal University, and trying to devote what I had learned from APS in policy advocacy in mainland, especially for the welfare service for the children in the poor family.
