The appointee will be responsible for providing research support to the Principal Investigator on research projects addressing poverty and the issues related to older adults in Hong Kong. Major duties include literature review, quantitative data analysis and any other duties as assigned by the Principal Investigator. The appointment will be for a period of around 10 months with the possibility of renewal subject to mutual agreement.
Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree or higher preferably with a background of statistics. He/She should be experienced in the full range of research skills including project planning and management, literature review, data collection, data entry, management and analysis of quantitative data, and research report writing. Experiences of working with older adults or poor people, being familiar with intervention studies in social sciences, and with some knowledge on Hong Kong’s aging and poverty issues will be advantages.
