Job Vacancy – Post Doctoral Fellow for Department of Asian and Policy Studies

The Department of Asian and Policy Studies is seeking to appoint a full-time Postdoctoral Fellow with expertise in any of the following areas: i) public sector management (including public finance), ii) comparative public policy, iii) social policy, including, but not limited to, social protection, ageing, social mobility, stratification and inequality, higher education and participation, health policy; iv) organizational analysis and management (including human resource management); v) public leadership and creating public value; vi) social innovation, entrepreneurship and sustainability. The appointment will be for a period of 2 years with the possibility of renewal subject to mutual agreement.

Applicants should have a Doctoral Degree in public policy or a closely related field, demonstrated capacity for independent and collaborative research, evidence of high quality publications (or potential for high impact publication placement), high level English language proficiency, and be able to work to project deadlines and deliver high quality work. In addition to research duties, the successful applicant will help support the research outreach and knowledge transfer activities of the Department.
