“Government Should Establish a Long-term Policy to Stand with the Invested Immigration”, said Prof. Joshua Mok Ka-ho

The influential population of China keeps increasing. According to the first publication of “Chinese International Immigration report 2012” that conducted by Chinese and the Globalization research centre, China is undergoing the 3rd immigration wave by the rich and top talent population. As being one of the options of the immigration wave, Hong Kong Government should establish a long-term population policy with the consideration of Hong Kong’s capacity. At the same time, the government should enhance the Hong Kong people’s concept of “Global Citizens” in order to welcome the talents and investors overseas.
