Professor Darryl S.L. Jarvis, Head, Department of Asian and Policy Studies, together with Professor Toby Carroll (City University of Hong Kong ) and Professor Judith Clifton (Jean Monnet Chair at the Faculty of Business and Economic Sciences, University of Cantabria, Spain) have recently co-guest edited a special issue of the journal Globalizations The special issue titled ‘Power, leverage and marketization: the diffusion of neoliberalism from North to South and back again’ features several leading international authors addressing the role of neoliberal policy prescriptions in Europe, Southeast Asia, Australia, China and the Meditation. Professors Jarvis, Carroll and Clifton also contributed articles to the Special issue
