APS People in the News – Prof. Joshua Mok Ka-ho

Professor Joshua Mok Ka-ho, Vice President (Research and Development) of The Hong Kong Institute of Education (HKIEd), Chair Professor of Comparative Policy and Professor of the Department of Asian and Policy Studies (APS) was interviewed by the Mercator Institute for China Studies regarding the National Higher Education Entrance Examination (NHEEE or Gaokao) of China. Those who scored high on the exam are accepted to the most prestigious universities and are offered great career prospects while the large majority will leave them with no other choice but to study at unknown universities or start an apprenticeship with little to no future career prospects.
