APS Co-host the Social Policy and Social Protection in Asia 2015 Workshop

The Department of Asian and Policy Studies (APS) co-host the Social Policy and Social Protection in Asia 2015 Workshop with the Centre for Greater China Studies (CGCS) at The Hong Kong Institute of Education (HKIEd). The workshop held on 27 July 2015 was attended by renowned professors, scholars, social work professionals, postgraduate students and those working in the field of social work and social policy. Over seventy participants from around the world gathered to disseminate and exchange ideas on social policy development in Asia ranging from poverty, migration, labour, retirement, elderly care, vulnerable population, welfare system, governance, housing, social protection, healthcare and education.
