Survey and analysis on the current status of biology teachers’ use of questioning in ordinary senior high schools

Abstract

By using the questionnaire on the current status of biology teachers’ use of questioning in ordinary senior high schools, we conducted a survey on the proper order of questioning, the goal of questioning, choice of suitable questions, calling to answer, effective feedback, adoption of the supporting measure. Some suggestions are put forward as based on the analysis of the survey: understanding the goal of questioning, designing questions based on the three-dimensional target, drawing attention to the openness of questions, creating problems context effectively, and carrying on teaching in a different way.
