CMMU DBA Immersion Program Concludes with Resounding Success at EdUHK

The Joseph Lau Luen Hung Charitable Trust Asia Pacific Centre for Leadership and Change (APCLC) at The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK), in collaboration with the College of Management, Mahidol University (CMMU), successfully hosted the CMMU DBA Immersion Program in Hong Kong on 26–27 August 2026.

The two-day intensive program brought together doctoral candidates, academic scholars, and industry professionals for dynamic academic presentations, corporate insights, and meaningful institutional exchange.

Designed to bridge doctoral research with practical application and institutional collaboration, the Immersion Program featured a rich schedule that balanced scholarly rigor with professional insights. Participants benefited from:

  • Featured Academic Talks & Keynotes: Distinguished scholars, including Dr Shang Liang, delivered insightful presentations on contemporary themes.
  • Parallel Research Sessions: Doctoral candidates presented their ongoing research across key thematic streams—including leadership, innovation, industry transformation, and public policy—receiving structured, personalized feedback from session chairs and observers. Additionally, participants gained practical perspectives during an engaging Q&As session with Mr Danny Lee, Chairman of Seed Foundation & Managing Partner at VCA Capital, facilitated by Dr Winai Wongsurawat.

  • Corporate & Industry Linkages: An interactive company visit to RICOH Hong Kong Limited provided delegates with first-hand insights into integrating AI and emerging technologies to enhance operational effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Cultural and Mindfulness Exchange: A facilitated visit to Tsz Shan Monastery offered participants a unique opportunity for mindfulness, reflection, and community building, wishing them inspiration and success for their ongoing DBA journey.
