Whole-School Job Crafting Workshop Energizes Faculty for the New Academic Year

Publication Date: 31 August 2026

On the afternoon of 31 August 2026, the entire faculty of Po Leung Kuk Mr. & Mrs. Chan Pak Keung Tsing Yi School participated in an engaging, school-based professional development workshop entitled “Building a Positive School Environment and a Collaborative Team Culture.” The workshop was facilitated by Dr. Lu Jiafang, with valuable input from her EdD student Mr. Chan Wang Tat and onsite support from Ms Yesenia Yan.

Throughout the workshop, participants engaged in self-assessments, online polling, a documentary video case, reflective activities, and small-group discussions. Colleagues explored practical strategies for crafting their work through task crafting, relationship crafting, and cognitive crafting, while reflecting on how small changes can lead to greater professional fulfilment, stronger teamwork, and a more positive school culture. The session fostered renewed enthusiasm, a stronger sense of collective purpose, and confidence in creating positive changes for themselves, their colleagues, and their students.
