Dr Lu Delivers a Keynote at the 2025 Education for Sustainable Development Conference

On September 20, Dr. LU Jiafang, Acting Co-Director of the Asia Pacific Centre for Leadership and Change (APCLC), delivered a keynote at the 2025 Education for Sustainable Development (ESD2025) Conference, guided by the Chinese Society of Education International Education Branch, and organized by Capital Institute of Science and Technology Development Strategy, UWC Changshu China, and TopSchools Education Group.

Highlights during the Seminar

In her keynote, Dr Lu discussed Hong Kong’s innovative practices in preparing schools for the future. She outlined the achievements as well as challenges faced by school leaders as they navigate the increasingly complex and dynamic education environment in Hong Kong. She flagged many highly contextualized, future-minded experiments in advancing value education, student wellness, digital citizenship, global competence, cross-subject curriculum, and experiential learning at primary and secondary schools in Hong Kong. Her presentation reflected APCLC’s commitment to bridging global dialogues with regional experiences in leadership, policy, and change.
