Centre initiates research into school exchange and collaboration in the GBA

The Centre has launched the research project Exchange and Collaboration Policy between Hong Kong and Shenzhen Schools: Obstacles, Enabling Conditions and Policy Recommendations. The study is funded by the University for HKD 1.5 Million.

The study proposes to conduct foundational research into the status of exchange and collaboration between different types of schools engaged in cross-border learning partnerships in the GBA. It aims to provide policymakers with evidence and insights for building workable educational partnerships in the GBA. The policy study will recommend bottom-up improvement strategies worth scaling up. The project reinforces the Centre’s leading role as a research hub for educational leadership and change in Chinese societies.
